  Introduction to PSA pressure swing adsorption oxygen concentrator

  Oxygen concentrator principle

  The separation of air in the oxygen concentrator mainly consists of two adsorption towers filled with molecular sieves.Under normal temperature conditions,compressed air is filtered,dehydrated,and purified before entering the adsorption tower.In the adsorption tower,nitrogen and other gases in the air are adsorbed by the molecular sieves,allowing oxygen to be enriched in the gas phase and stored in the oxygen buffer tank through the outlet.The molecular sieves that have already been adsorbed in the other tower are rapidly depressurized,By analyzing the adsorbed components and alternating between the two towers,cheap oxygen with a purity of≥90%can be obtained.

  Characteristics of oxygen concentrator:

  (1)Convenient and fast oxygen production:Advanced technology and unique airflow distributors make the airflow distribution more uniform,efficiently utilizing molecular sieves,and providing qualified oxygen in about 20 minutes.

  (2)Convenient to use:The equipment has a compact structure and is installed as a whole,occupying a small area without requiring infrastructure investment.The investment is low,and oxygen can be produced on-site by simply connecting the power supply.

  (3)More economical than other oxygen supply methods:The PSA process is a simple oxygen production method that uses air as raw material and consumes only the electrical energy consumed by the air compressor.The efficiency of molecular sieve loading is tighter,more solid,and has a longer service life.The pressure,purity,and flow rate are stable and adjustable,meeting the different needs of customers.

  (4)Mechatronics integration design realizes automated operation:imported PLC controls fully automatic operation,oxygen flow rate,pressure and purity can be adjusted and continuously displayed,and unmanned operation can be achieved.

  Oxygen flow rate:1-300 Nm3/h

  Oxygen purity 30-95%

  Oxygen pressure 0.1~0.5MPa(pressurized)

  Atmospheric dew point-60℃(customizable)

  Note:The oxygen flow unit"Nm3/h"refers to the flow unit at 20℃and 0.101MPa(absolute pressure).

  Technical use of oxygen concentrators:

  1.In daily life,oxygen concentrators are often needed in places with dense populations,poor air circulation,and sparse oxygen at high altitudes.Sauna rooms,oxygen bars/elderly leisure activity rooms,high-altitude oxygen scarce areas or underground shopping malls can determine the size of oxygen concentrators based on the maximum population density and space size,and choose the corresponding specifications of oxygen concentrators;

  2.Electric furnace steelmaking:decarburization,oxygen combustion heating,foam slag dissolution,metallurgical control and subsequent heating;

  3.Wastewater treatment:Oxygen enriched aeration of activated sludge and oxygenation of water tanks;

  4.Pulp bleaching and papermaking:Chlorine bleaching is converted into oxygen rich bleaching,providing cheap oxygen for wastewater treatment;

  5.Nonferrous metal smelting:Smelting steel,zinc,nickel,lead,etc.requires the use of enriched oxygen,and the pressure swing adsorption oxygen production system is an excellent oxygen supply source

  6.Field laser cutting construction:Cutting steel pipes and steel plates in the field,mobile or small oxygen concentrators can meet the requirements

  7.Aquaculture,underground rivers,and aquariums:aeration or mixed oxygenation for fish,shrimp,and aquatic products

  8.Ozone generator:Provides high concentration oxygen electrolysis to produce ozone,with higher and more stable ozone concentration,resulting in better disinfection and bleaching effects.Most ozone water treatment uses an oxygen source ozone generator.
